Just about every night I'll notice boats with either no navigation lights, poorly working nav lights, and illegal nav light combinations. Offhand I find this irritating.
When we lived in France one of the requirements for boats was to have a set of battery operated navigation lights aboard just in case you lose electric power, a light fails, your mast falls down or whatever because shit does happen.
So, it was with some interest when I noticed that MarineBeam is offering a Full USCG 2NM Certified Lighting Kit for Kayak, SUP, Dinghy, or Boats <12m kit for $99 bucks.
Kind of a no-brainer really.
